Meet the Founders
Heather Rose and Maia Rodman are life
partners whose shared passions and studies led them to open “Free to be Healed” in 2017.
They both have personal experience and compassionate understanding of the often tumultuous and devastating path to obtaining optimal wellbeing.
They share a mutual vision of supporting their community to experience the joy and vibrancy that they know is possible.
They are secure in value of the work they share with clients because they apply it successfully in their own lives.
Heather Rose
Heather holds a degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology, as well as PHD-level studies in Metaphysics and 17 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing. She bridges the worlds of traditional medicine and complementary alternative modalities. A practitioner, educator and mentor, Heather provides mental health support, physical health and wellbeing and soul-coaching through the lens of mind/body/spirit connection.
She has a whole body-based, trauma safe approach with a focus on the nervous system and how it relates to mental/ emotional health. She specializes in developmental trauma, emotional regulation, body psychology and energetic holding patterns.
She works with individuals, children, couples and families. She supports clients to develop a sense of self and connect to their own truth, thus assisting them to deepen into and create harmonious relationships with themselves and others.
Heather’s work honors the innate intelligence of the body and the brilliance of emotions. She has a deep understanding of how unmet needs and suppressed emotions held in the body impact structural alignment and create unhelpful neuropathways.
Heather also personally understands the journey of navigating chronic and invisible illness as she faces her own daily challenges that come with a chronic condition. Heather quotes “My saving grace is that I have learned how to listen to my body fully and nurture myself so deeply that it provides me with the strength to show up authentically with the ability to meet myself where I am in order to embrace the journey with as much ease and grace as possible.
Attention:
Heather Rose is currently only accepting new clients for virtual sessions.
